●  Kay Witherspoon painting, "Colorado", has been accepted as a part of the  permanent collection of The Carter Center in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

●  Kay Witherspoon's   "independence Pass Series" , which encompasses 25 oil paintings, was installed above the living room fireplaces at The Little Nell Residences in Aspen Colorado by The Joan Warren-Grady Group, La Jolla, CA

●  Kay Witherspoon has been invited to exhibit in the 2009 "Colorado Gold" annual exhibition at The Wildlife Experience Museum from August 15 through November 15, 2009.  This is the second consecutive year she has received this honor.
