* The Wildlife Experience Museum has graciously invited WFA students
to again participate in a forth, 2012 Artistic Spirit Exhibition of student
work. This is a tremendous opportunity for students to gain exhibition
experience, including how to prepare their framed work for exhibitions and
for shipment (to the class studio for transfer to the museum by me.)
* I have been invited to assist The Wildlife Experience Education
Department in expanding their programming for 2012 to include various
on-site art/painting courses and to help them plan classroom design.
This is an exciting opportunity to support Colorado's only wildlife museum.
I encourage all of you to take out The Wildlife Experience Museum
membership and experience for yourself their multitude of
exceptional programs. Too, those students are also members enjoy a
$15.00 savings on the class fee and a 25% discount on
print orders.

student. There is no discount given for missing a class.
Make-up classes:

class time by filling a vacancy in another class. Make-up
dates are not guaranteed. Students must be
enrolled and class fees paid. Scheduling and make-ups are the
complete responsibility of the student by entering your name on the
date chosen in calendar provided in class. |
|
Procedures:
During the interview or their first class, students
are open to selecting the subject matter they wish to paint on an 11x14 or 16x20 canvas.
A variety of visual resources such as books, magazines, and calendars
are available in the classroom - or students may bring their own subject
matter. Handouts on painting techniques of the masters and basic art
principles that produce perspective, textures, mood, and so forth will be
discussed and demonstrated. Individualized attention
is given throughout. I will provide demonstrations that
students are welcome to follow on a separate, practice canvas.
I believe that students perform best when working on subjects
that they can relate to at an emotional and personal level.
Registration Fees and Class Schedules: ALL
levels are welcome.

able to take advantage of a $10.00 discount when paying a full week in
